These Terms & Conditions govern the purchase and use of Italian language courses and lessons provided by Sofia Maria Petrecca ("we", "us", "the Provider"). By booking or purchasing any service, you ("the Student") agree to the following terms in full.
1. Payment Policy
All lessons and courses must be paid in full before the first session begins. Access to lessons or course materials will not be granted until payment has been confirmed. Prices are listed in Euro (€). The Provider operates under the Italian Regime Forfettario; VAT is not applied to prices.
2. Group Lessons
Group lessons are scheduled for all enrolled students and follow a fixed calendar.
Important:
If a student misses a group lesson for any reason, that lesson is lost and cannot be recovered, rescheduled, or refunded. The lesson is considered delivered to the group regardless of individual attendance.
3. Private Lessons
Private lessons offer more flexibility. The following rules apply:
Cancellation
You may cancel a private lesson up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made with less than 4 hours' notice will be treated as a no-show and the lesson will not be refunded or recovered.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a private lesson without any additional charge, subject to the Provider's availability. Rescheduling requests must be made with sufficient notice. A maximum of 2 consecutive reschedules per lesson is permitted. If a lesson is rescheduled more than twice consecutively, it will be forfeited without refund.
4. No Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable.
Once payment has been made, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, except where expressly required by applicable mandatory law. This applies to all lesson types, course packages, and any other services provided.
We encourage you to review the course details carefully before purchasing and to reach out with any questions before completing your booking.
5. Provider Cancellation
In the rare event that the Provider must cancel a scheduled lesson (e.g., illness or emergency), an alternative time will be offered. If no alternative can be arranged, a full refund for that lesson will be issued.
6. Conduct & Punctuality
Students are expected to attend lessons on time and to conduct themselves respectfully. Late arrivals may shorten lesson duration but will not extend it. Disruptive behaviour may result in termination of the lesson without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials, exercises, and content provided are for personal study only. You may not copy, record, distribute, or share any materials without prior written permission from the Provider.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Italian consumer protection provisions.
